Don't Worry Be Well

Don't Worry Be Well

Being well doesn't mean that nothing will ever go wrong with our health. Rather it means that if something does, we are prepared with many skills, practices and a physical and emotional resilience that will carry us through it, back to our natural state of wholeness and health! Below you’ll find some of the things needed to build your own wellness reserves.

Building your Wellness Reserves
  • A practice of mindfulness, prayer, or meditation
  • A community of caring individuals where you can feel accepted and be yourself!
  • Regular physical activity that you enjoy
  • Good nutrition, and excellent supplementation
  • Good gut health (80% of our immunity is in the gut)
  • A positive attitude with loads of gratitude sprinkled in
  • Good health practitioners who are skilled, caring and aligned with your belief system
  • Time for sleep, rest and rejuvenation
  • Healthy Pleasure! (from enjoying spontaneous and planned moments throughout the day such as a cup of tea, or a walk in nature-to anticipating and enjoying larger experiences like special outings, excursions, and holidays)
  • Be accepting of setbacks in life, whether emotional, physical, relational or otherwise. Instead of “beating yourself up” be kind, loving and patient with yourself!
The thing that we can always count on in life is change. Keep your worry at bay by preparing and practicing often for the things that make you healthy.
